A QUICK HEALTHY SNACK


Elevenses are a new development in our house during our new home schooling schedule. My kids gets HUNGRY between breakfast, Zoom classroom meetings, and lunch. Here is an elevenses snack idea that my boys prepare on their own. It also happens to be gluten free. Corn arepas and quesito Colombiano (Salvadoran cheese also works) is available in many US supermarkets, including Costco.

Corn arepa (toasted or baked until crispy)

Quesito Colombiano 

Avocado

Ham (turkey breast is also an alternative)

In Colombia, people love to top their crunchy arepas with butter and salt, so that's another delicious option.
