Taking them with you to the food market and coming home to prepare the ingredients you bought together can be a spiritual practice. Taking a walk to the market and having a conversation around the dinner table are rituals that create spaces for families to share social, physical, emotional, and spiritual experiences that cannot be replaced by smart phones.
